Our Approach

explore, develop and achieve

We believe every child or young person should feel special, safe, and comfortable, and be provided with opportunities to explore, develop and achieve in all aspects of their life. We believe every child and young person is entitled to a happy life, with support and guidance that promotes, embraces and safeguards their health, development, welfare, and protects them from harm.

Our approach is based on the premise that the safety and welfare of our children and young people is paramount.

We acknowledge and understand that in order to achieve this, children and young people require positive role models, and positive relationships with the adults that care for them, which should be based on mutual trust, clear and consistent boundaries, and respect.

Our team

explore, develop
and achieve

We recognise that each child and young person is an individual, with different needs and experiences. It is fundamentally vital that their care and support plans are individually tailored, and that staff are fully trained and equipped to deliver the level of support required for each child or young person.

The staff team are the key to achieving positive experiences and outcomes for children and young people and we recognise this and underpin it with
our training.

We believe that children should live in a home that has a family orientated atmosphere, which is safe and structured, responsive to change, and that learns from experiences.
